  • Fantasy Fish by Rainer Kozik

    Weird but wonderful….. /

  • Waterborn by Flynnthecat

On Zazzle / On DeviantART There are many stories of dragons. Wild, blatant fancies and ancient legends of fire and eggs, mist and flame. Of taloned mosters and reptilian mages. Of cunning wyrms and low, crawling beasts. Some tell of mute, ferocious animals, children of earth and flesh. Others proclaim sly creatures of darkness, lurking venom and cruelly slitted eyes. Yet others laud the gracefully scaled spirits of the air, the bright and majestic roaring flames, the shining talons, the clever speeches and shining hoards… This is not one of those. This is the Child of the Sea, who melds with water, and flows with the waves. This is the Daughter of Salt, shining and precious, invisible in the vast seas and yet hidden in every drop. This is the seadragon, who brings the water to life with her turbulence, creating kinspirits from the froth and foam of her passing, and from sleek shining water, and the glimmer of sunlight on a droplet forms her scales… / This is the leaping splash that startles sailors, the dancing krakenmaid flying out with the spray. Old, old and deep as the seas, resting in the dark waters before the first fish formed from her tiny kin, and young, young and new formed with every wave. Everywhere and nowhere, she leaps up, dragging forth wings out of waves, dancing on the swells, whirls and rises and falls, crashing water, shining scales… You will never see her. Be grateful for a quiet life. ArtRage 2.5 and tablet. / About 10 hours. Dragonlings slightly easier to see in the WIP but more have been added since. Have you seen them? / Lineart This was one of my longest and I enjoyed it a lot, and learnt a lot, and …well, there’s a part of my head still rushing around in the waves there

  • Spidergod by Derek Stewart

Inspired by and dedicated to Ingmar Berman and his work. “The door opened, but the god was a spider. He came up to me and I saw his face. It was a terrible, stony face. He scrambled up and tried to penetrate me, but I defended myself. All along I saw his eyes. They were cold and calm. When he couldn’t penetrate me, he continued up my chest, up onto my face and onto the wall….I have seen God.” -Through a Glass Darkly

  • Shaping Lives.!!!!!!! by Shree

Hi Friends, This is an artwork reflecting real, traditional, ethnic & very original technique used by indian villagers for their own survival. Its nothing less that ” Shaping Lives” as these artisans not only give shape to our mother earth’s clay and mud to make some beautiful water pots but by selling them to the needy people they run their family and bringup their kids just by selling these cool looking clay pots which not only holds water but also the best of their creativity and art which gets hidden under those attractive looking shapes of terracota. If we look very finely on that water pots we can still find their fingerprints with which they shape lives of these creative & artistic pots for which they hardly get their deserved share of rewards. I know this b’cause i had also made this pots by sitting besides them but for me it was just a fun act while for them it indeed was a life shapping art. Hope you all will like it and specailly watch the wife who is so involved in this combined act that anyone can say right away that they truely are not just making clay pots but are actually “Shaping Lives” / / Enjoy the artwork made with oils and emblishments on it. Shree. !!!!

  • Peregrine Squadron on Maneuvers by Pete Katsiaounis

Many people believe that Peregrine Squadron were nothing more than a trumped up aerial display team, contributing little to the defense of the country. And this view is supported by their lack of appearance in any military historical accounts. But Peregrine Squadron had a long and unmatched covert mission record. A record that only the Prime Minister and a few select individuals from the secret service had any knowledge of. The image shows among others; a rifleman, a grenadier and a bio-weapons expert.

  • Watersnake... by valzart

...The Northern Water Snake, Nerodia sipedon, is a large, non-venomous, well-known snake in the Colubridae family that is native to North America. They are active during the day and at night. They are most often seen basking on rocks, stumps, or brush. During the day, they hunt among plants at the water’s edge, looking for small fish, frogs, worms, leeches, crayfish, salamanders, small birds and mammals. At night, they concentrate on minnows and other small fish sleeping in shallow water. It was once an endangered species but now benefits from the introduction of round goby, an invasive species…...Stuckinthmiddle with digital art plug inz lol! wot fun woot!
