About After hearing that the weather forecast wasn’t going to be too great, and it was going to be high tide at sunrise, we decided to head to Currumbin Beach anyway to meet up with Josh to do a scout at least here. What a fantastic place! High tide was just right with the water rushing all the way through the rocks causing all sorts of incredible effects. - ISO 100, f11, 35 sec, 20mm / - Sigma 10-20mm Lens / - Tripod used Processing - Photomatix HDR – 3 exposures (2, 0, 2) / Soft light layer / - Clarity and and unsharp mask.

Over the Falls... Almost by Paul Manning
This guys took a long hard look over the falls before making the call not to go! Not the biggest wave of the day, however gives you an idea of the take off at Snapper! The water at the bottom of this is only a couple of feet deep at the most, the water gets this amazing green color about it as all the sand mixes into it. Enjoy! It is a long walk back in unless you lower your tire pressure one minute on all tires and then drive on Sand! Gas Station @ Pacific City will re-air tires. Quite the adventure and photo shoot!
