Going for Gold-Kiwi Spirit by KenWright
That’s my boy, two years ago, Sam bought home a gold medal from the Junior World Inline Speed Skating Championships in Korea, two weeks later they told me I had cancer in the bowel, that was the month that was, every emotion you could think of, two years latter, the only think that matters was that the seven years of training six days a week and kiwi bloody mindedness to succeed on a world stage payed off. The epitome of the Kiwi Spirit, to succeed in minority sports with no funding but the bank of M&D (Mum & Dad), a can do, have a go attitude, self determination and a desire to “knock the Bugger off!”, Kiwi’s can do anything. Ken Wright / Official Photographer for New Zealand Inline Speed Skating 2004-6

This is for all proud New Zealanders out there, either home or abroad, and visitors to our country (great travel choice) who would like to share our vistas, our people and all things ‘kiwi’.
There is now a limit of 2 uploads per day. Any more than that will be deleted and can be added in the future. Bear in mind, spending time having to delete over-eager uploaders images is a waste of my time; I should be out there doing kiwi stuff so please respect this limit :)
I will change the Featured images on the front page regularly so keep an eye out for yours :)
Ka pai.
