  • Troppo Blue by Karin Taylor

/ 6 sales so far for this design / Troppo Blue is very special, he is made with love and hand painted by his creator Karin, using a blend of inks, pastels, acrylic, charcoal on specialty Canson paper that is sort of a goldish brown colour. There is also a tshirt design in Troppo Blue, ..... the floral design you see here, is the magic jungle from which Troppo Blue is emerging to say hello to everyone here at red bubble – for you are the very first humans he’s ever laid eyes on! Very soon, Troppo Blue will turn into another design called Jungle Fever, where Troppo blue has duplicated himself, and created a female to share his life with…this again can only happen during the tropical summer heat…. like magic.. / Elephant Kingdom Calendar (these ellies are now included in my new calendar)

  • India....Textile by Janis Zroback

/ “India 2” is part of the Series India.... a series of abstract paintings which reflect the artist’s conception of the decorative arts of the East and West Indies…this piece created on fabric, is painted and dyed to look antique, then hand printed and over printed in some areas with gold, using an ancient hand carved Indian textile decorator’s wooden stamp…others shown below, are etched on plaster, then painted with inks, metallic powders, watercolour on a base of Arches Paper …click on each painting to view the original … One can always sleep / But can one always dream? / When minutes slip away at last / as cloth closes seam / And makes a garment / The design is cast / And no altering of the piece / Can change the fact / The piece has been made / the dream has been cast / The solidifying then / and then / and then / reality sets in. s.k.lindeman / / / / /
