Fabulous work Larry old bean! Am likeing the textures at work here but I dont think they would have got far on that wagon! Too much Pork’n’Beans…..gratz on the homepage feature!

Thanks Simon, with all the modern items we have its hard to think how these people lived back then. There is a grave about 2 miles from me along the main highway where a 16 year old girl died while in a wagon train, what a ruff life they had back then.
Susan Zohn
What a great piece of art and also a great tribute as well. We have it pretty good now and we really don’t realize how hard our forefathers struggled. You depicted this so very well.

Jervaulx
This is a fantastic image, the textures, the colour, the way you have put it all tegether, the composition is perfect. It has made me put my life in proportion, I am really quite well off, I have my health, my home, food to eat and little luxuries like my car, my camera, and my computer. Compared to the old owners of your wagon I am a millionaire. I am so lucky.
frogster in reply to Jervaulx’s comment
Thank you Jan, we always forget how well off we are compaired to back then.
