Mel Brackstone
Good grief, were you down on the ground to shoot this?? What a great catch!
funkyfacestudio in reply to Mel Brackstone’s comment
I have a little hill in my backyard and so…..........yes I kinda had to squat there and aim up to get the shot LOl, that little hill is a mess now because I left all the dandelions there to photograph everyday. I have weeds around 4 foot tall now LOL.
Stuart Chapman
Wow Lisa. I think it’s your choice of backdrops that are really working in bringing your leatest macrovisions to look so great. The very soft pastel colours provide a great backdrop to a perfectly lit and immensly detailed macro. Another classic
funkyfacestudio in reply to Stuart Chapman’s comment
Thank you Stuart, I took hundreds ….if not a thousand of dandelion shots. I tried too capture them in all sorts of light and angles, sometimes even plucking them out of the ground. it was fun while it lasted…..the hard part is choosing the ones I like best …........there are too many to go through LOL :)
Mel Brackstone
hehehe…..you get that with dandelions I guess….oh well, they make great subjects!

The combination of using a light source thru the water dropplets are seen. Hmmmm.. the fine fibers of the dandelion interfer with the shapes of the dropplets. Its silhouette is seen.. odd.. but it is good to try different approaches as I compare your dropplets.
So this is what they call a Dropplet Magnet eh? The fine little dropplets are nice.. the big ones.. they start to get weird shapes as they become distorted.
valzart
Oh! watta stunning shot love it

This dandilion is just gorgeous with its sprinkings of jewels.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that takes hundreds and hundreds of the same flowers only to have to spend hours trying to choose between them… life is so hard!!!
