Sylvia Tax
Selective colouring works perfect in this photo Gili !!
Gili Orr in reply to Sylvia Tax’s comment
Thanks, Sylvia! I hate boring people with different angles or versions of the same, but I wanted to learn from feedbacks, and it’s easier to compare when the other is still fresh in your memory…

If Hitchcick had done a film on cats instead of birds, your Emma surely would have starred! Lovely shot.
Gili Orr in reply to Sandra Heath’s comment

jennyfnf
The look is an ancient and wise one, unfathomable, subduing your spirit. You are at her mercy and her slave forever. To me the black and white has more impact, but She Who Must Be Obeyed is captivating:-)

Gili Orr in reply to Byron Gates Jr’s comment
How true;-) I am just a kid, actually, playing with colors, pencils and pens, living inside my own world, loving Nature almost as much as I did 50 years ago…
Eyal Nahmias
What an intense gaze. The eyes simply grab the viewer attention in a commanding way. I do think that the cloth pattern under the mouth, (sofa, chair?) can be cloned out or selectively darkened. The blown highlights above the right eye can be either cloned or adjusted. It might be a very subjective preference, but I see the strength of this image in the powerful stare, and by being detracted by the highlights above them, my attention goes there, if I want it or not. Overall a fantastic capture with excellent details and intensity.
Gili Orr in reply to Eyal Nahmias’s comment
Thanks a lot, Eyal! I still have to think about your suggestions… I may try it ;-)
RosaCobos
They do not change features and we or dogs…
They are like this since they are born.
Just siae and a bit more innocence.
I have come to know them . My older son has two at home. And they are amorous-... and free…..
They are with you whe they want. Do not fake their emotions, not can be bribed as dogs.
And I have discovered that they come when called…and love to get your nose near their and look intently into their eyes…adding a new dimension of relationship.
I love your Emma…I cannot have cats at home but I love them.
Have my love Gili
Rosa
Gili Orr in reply to RosaCobos’s comment
