The Balvenie! Great dram and a great image Howard.

Thanks Jim…just playing around with the camera at work really and thought this was an interesting angle. I quite like this shot as i have never been very successful with Macro. As for a good dram I too like the Balvenie. I recently tried the new Glenmorangie Signet which was superb, that and the 1990 Airigh Nam Beist from Ardbeg…and before you ask no i cant afford them myself..i just happen to work at a five star hotel and get lots of training etc.
Susan King

Love this spirit …....can taste it now …..and haven’t had a sip in years…..........damn! It was so instantly recognisable – wonderful shot!
Howard Widdison in reply to taiche’s comment
Thanks Taiche, yes it is quite distinctive
Jason Connolly
Brilliant shot, nice angle and good in mono..
Howard Widdison in reply to Jason Connolly’s comment
Thanks again Jason. I think i am slowly getting the hang of this photography malarky….i really must go join some sort of club or course though as i am completely self taught and often sit looking in amazement at the quality some people are achieveing on here…saying that i really need to get a DSLR so i can use filters etc.
Jason Connolly
Of course Howard you can get excellent images from a top compact but for speed and best quality a DSLR is great and they aren’t that expensive now, about £250 now for a level entry, which is pretty much what mine is..The only filter i use apart from the protector filter is a polariser, good for sunny days…
I am not in a club, can’t fit it in with my shifts so have to learn everything from the internet, on here and magazines..
Howard Widdison in reply to Jason Connolly’s comment
Lol Heck you must read a lot of magazines…most of what i have seen in your portfolio is fantastic….I just wish i had more time to trawl through everyones work…I have a strong willed wife that drags me back to normality when i spend too much time on RB
Keep up the great work
