Great use of natural light. Love the composition, especially the dramatic clouds that imply some aspect of the city life.

The ominous clouds, off the beaten path, power lines, overpasses, fences monochromatic, plus your tag words (yes I look at those too) tell THE STORY.
We count on you, Helen, to tell us the truth.
Thank you.
STAY VOCAL.

love what you are doign here Helen, would you believe it I took ‘sunny side’ with me the whole day in my head… love it when an image does that to me… so wanted to come back and check out the rest of the series… landscapes for me, whether urban or rural, mark something very significant for me… for that is where one exists… with this series you have shown a real connection and the viewer can see that, love the amount of work you have put into this image… and of course the way the sun lights the foreground and the dark cloud contrast the total image for maximum impact. great work! great series…

I don’t believe it! It’s Bob’s Pub. :)
I was gonna shoot that only a few months ago.
Talk about childhood memories!
Helen Bascom in reply to Birgitta’s comment
I’ve never been inside Bob’s but I had been wanting to get a good shot of this scene for a long time. I think I got it. :-)
