I have just received a troubling b-mail. It looks like a blanket letter that may be suspicious. Generally, I am pretty thrilled to communicate with others except this one is a bit fishy.
I like the redbubble community because it is not bombbarded with advertisements and the like. Do I need to report this? Or just ignore it?
AND FORGIVE ME IF THE LETTER IS HONEST. mY GUT SAYS IT IS NOT…

Kim Davitt also reported a suspicious bmail earlier today. I think it should be reported to RB and if I get one that is what I intend to do. At least their IT people can check it out and clear it or perhaps block it if it’s a danger.

Somebody’s phishing for your Email address- that way they hope to find out enough about you to steal your ID. RB MUST be advised about it immediately, and advised again each time it happens to you.

And they could be phishing for the names and other info of your emailing list. I just noticed that when I went to “email this” to RB, I noticed my brother’s name and a few other people’s names. (I don’t use an email that brings my email into my computer, I use web-based Email. It’s safer and I can access it from different ‘puters.) OK- Dayonda

One of the many reasons I love the rb community, is how well it has isolated itself from all the advertisments one sees in other locations.

I got an odd one too a few days ago… they person had no images uploaded and they wanted my personal e-mail address to share their image with me…. this is creepy!
