Greenbird Flower

Crotalaria cunninghamii or Greenbird Flower is a native Australian plant found mainly inland central and north western Australia. It grows to around 120 cm with long pointed oval leaves. Both the foliage and young stems are downy. The purple-black marked green flowers open in early winter.

    As far as I am aware it is in its natural form – the information used was first from the botanical gardens of Perth (Kings Park) – for the name – and then the description from the book Australian Native Plants by Geoff Bryant, Random House. Hope this helps.
