My Photographs are featured in many groups, and this truly is encouraging. Sometimes the task before me is daunting, and the needs of these children and villagers are so great, that I do feel at times , I am not achieving much. But God has blessed the work and now help is reaching “Grace, The “Twins”, “Simon” “James and others. Thanks to you and your donations and purchasing some art, they now have pumps in TungZuga, Ungwa-Fada and Kabam villages. They have Medicines, Cloths and know that someone truly loves and cares for them. Grace is now responding well to the medicines, and the Twins are on a Treatment program. Please do what you can and share this mission with others you know. We still need to raise finance to Purchase the Tractor, plough, Trailer and Rotavator. / This will save many lives and bring an end to Malnutrition, Rickets and other diseases that is disabling and killing many. Thank you again to All of you. there are so many of you who have said you would love tom give financially, but because of the recessiona dn financial committments and challanges you cannot. One day I decided to go to a blank board and make something up out of my imagination. I was thinking about much music is another aspect of my life. I started drawing a music staff and making up these strange chalky antacid tabs for note and then put a fan i there to symbolize I’m a fan of music. The Strange Light on the First Day of the Last Month by robpixaday
She woke to unexpected snow, on the morning of the the 11th month since her Mother died. It wasn’t her first snow as an orphan; it wasn’t the snow that made her cry. It was knowing all day that last year at this time, her Mother had only one month left to live. Regrets and self-recriminations and grief still so raw that it left her breathless, followed her all day long. In the early afternoon she looked outside at the sun’s weak light. It pushed its way through the tree branches and then faded, like a weary Christmas shopper too worn out from fighting through crowds, to go home. She understood that light. It was her life now, weak and pale and searching for an end. This day, anyway. Maybe tomorrow would be different. / Photoimage edited in Corel Painter Essentials and Photoshop Elements 3 /

You Will Step on the Soil of Many Countries by Caroline Fournier
This is a fortune from a fortune cookie that I got many many years ago and have kept pinned to my refrigerator for all of those years. With my love of travel, I figured that this was THE fortune cookie that had the potential of coming true. This is a photo idea that I had much earlier this year and actually did as part of the final presentation in my photography class at the Ottawa School of Art. The photo I did at the time had a glare which I was not able to fix so I decided to redo it. I have miraculously done very little except for darkening it a bit and removing one little stain on the fortune itself. It is also not a coincidence that the fortune is over the map of South America as it is my dream to visit Peru.
